Myeongdong Toast is a popular Korean street food that can be found in many areas around Korea. It is a salty-sweet egg sandwich, made with cabbage, onion, green onion, and carrot. It is usually served with melted butter on top of the toast. Myeongdong Toast can be found in popular areas such as Hongdae, Myeongdong, and Kwangjang Market. Simple Trick to Make Your Website Links Open in a New Tab

Image
If you take a look at the left-hand side of my blog, you'll find some highly recommended book links that will redirect you to external websites like Amazon or eBay. To ensure a smooth user experience, I have used the following method that will allow these links to open in a separate tab when clicked. The HTML code for embedding an external link typically appears like this. To have the linked page open in a new tab, merely add target="_blank  right after the website address enclosed in quotes. Simple as that!

Travel is figuring out your options as you go

Image
Traveling often requires figuring out your options as you go, a realization that I recently came across in a YouTube commercial that resonated with me. Being an avid traveler, I've often wondered why being on the road makes me feel more inspired and alive. I attribute it to the excitement and thrill of making decisions on the fly, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem at first. Admittedly, this can also be exhausting at times, but my travels have been some of the most inspiring moments of my life. Often, I'm inspired to make significant changes while traveling, such as reshaping my future, changing my career path, or even renovating my home. However, the sad truth is, typically only a fraction of the inspiration Stick with me once back home. Returning home to familiarity is often a drag; everything can become monotonous. I know where to catch the next bus and what I'll have for lunch. So it's safe to say that spontaneity is probably the key to rekindling th...

How to redirect a single blog post to external URL

Image
If you're looking to redirect website traffic from an outdated blog post to a new, external web address- such as a new blog- there's no need to fret, as the process is quick and straightforward. Go to the old blog post > click to edit > change into HTML view > and paste the following code at the bottom (changing the web address to your own). And you are done.  <script> window.location = "https://your external web site address here.com"; </script>

Seven Years in Tibet (film review)

Image
I once recommended this film before, and I would like to reiterate my suggestion. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend that you find a way to watch it online. Although Brad Pitt was still in his early prime, his performance was compelling. The calmness of the film creates a spiritual atmosphere, which is quite remarkable. It's one of those movies that can offer a truly transporting experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in a pivotal historical event, and emerging from the experience feeling a tad more enlightened. Just this week, I came across a book titled the same as the movie and decided to read the book as well. It's an inspirational and heartwarming story that's perfect to watch with loved ones. It's based on an incredible true story that is sure to leave you feeling inspired. So why not gather your friends and family and watch it this week? #bradpitt #films #truestory #tibet

Has it been a year?!

Image
Wow, time sure flies! I can hardly believe that it's been over a year since my last diary entry. I always had good intentions of writing more consistently but got sidetracked by Instagram and YouTube. I'm still trying to figure out how to best link everything up and keep it all organized. Lately, I've been debating whether or not to move from Blogger to other platforms like WordPress. I know that Blogger is free and doesn't require a host like WordPress does, but sometimes I wonder if I could do more with a different platform. However, the thought of starting another blog from scratch makes me wish for an extra pair of hands😅. At least for now, I'll keep adding everything to this blog until I accumulate enough content to split into different topics. Let's be honest, this blog is a true reflection of my scattered brain with too many interests and not enough depth. There are some older posts that badly need editing, which is super time-consuming, but one day, I...
